Detailed Overview

Sharavathi valley is a great destination to unwind and refresh our minds with the beauty of nature. Sharavathi has the most beautiful range of hills which are a bridge between the dense Sharavathi Valley and the backwaters. One of the best places for island camping in the whole of western ghats. Sharavathi river valley is something that can be considered to be an ecological paradise. The total trekking distance would be 12-14km.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight journey from Bangalore to Sagara

  • The guests are requested to report at the pick up points by 9:00 pm.
  • We will start our journey from Bangalore to Sagara which is almost 8 hours journey.

Day2: Visit Jog Falls and Camping at the basecamp

  • We are expected to reach the base camp by 7:00 am. 
  • We will freshen up and have freshly prepared breakfast and proceed for the trek with a waterfall visit. Rejuvenate in the waterfall and take a dip if you want to.
  • We will visit the famous Jog Falls which is the highest plunge waterfall in India. 
  • On the way, we will stop for lunch and reach the basecamp by evening.
  • We will pitch our tents and relax around the bonfire and end the day with a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Launch ride and back to Bangalore

  • Early morning, we will start from the base camp after breakfast.
  • We will take a launch ride and enjoy the peaceful backwaters of Sharavathi.
  • Then start the journey towards Bangalore and we are expected to reach Bangalore by 9:00 pm
