Tread your way up to the top of this hill and spend a night camping cuddling under the blanket after some scrumptious dinner. Spend a day amongst the greenery breathing in some pure air rare to the city dwellers; let your jaw drop and breath taken away at the sight of the magnificent Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes.
After camping in snow, fly above the gorgeous valley of Bir Billing. Bir Billing is one of the favorite locations of Paragliding enthusiasts from across the world. With mountain peaks peeking out of the mist clouds and the lush green valley right under your feet, experience this wonderful journey across the sky with the help of a professional paragliding expert.
Itinerary
The journey from Delhi to Mcleodganj:
- On the 22nd of December, you will be boarding the vehicle for an overnight journey to Mcleodganj from Majnu Ka Tilla in Delhi which will be a journey of about 500 km and will take you from 9 to 10 hours.
- Starting time from Delhi or Chandigarh will be communicated after booking.
- The participants from Chandigarh will be received on the way at a specified pickup point.
Arrival in Mcleodganj and Trek to Triund:
- You will be arriving at Mcleodganj on 23rd December
- Post which you will be reporting at our base camp and freshen up.
- After having breakfast, you will commence trekking at 10:00 am and head towards Triund via Dharamkot & Gallu Devi Temple through the beautiful forests of deodar, oak and rhododendron.
- Located at 9432 ft, Triund trek is a 9 km trek and takes upto 4 to 5 hrs to reach the camping point at the Triund Top. The summit offers a stunning 180 degree views of the mighty Dhauladhar Himalayas, Indrahar, and the entire Kangra Valley.
- Soak in all the view sipping a hot tea & snack. Spend your night alongside a campfire followed by Dinner and Overnight Camping and stay in tents at Triund.
Back to base camp in Mcleodganj:
- On the 24th of December after watching the sunrise from the Triund hilltop, you will have tea and breakfast at your camps.
- Post which you will be checking out from your camps and start heading back towards our Base Camp in Mcleodganj.
- You will be reaching the base by 2:00 pm and be check-in to the guest house, post that you can explore Mcleod ganj, Dalai Lama Temple and the local Market.
- You will have an overnight stay and dinner at the base camp.
Journey to Bir and Paragliding:
- On 25th December after breakfast, you will be leaving for Bir.
- Enjoy the pleasure of an unforgettable paragliding flight with an amazing view for a duration of 10-15 minutes.
- Post the paragliding leave for your specific destination.

Special Instructions:
- You must inform the Base Camp coordinator in advance in case you're not able to reach the location on time, so that they'll be able to wait for you. If you fail to inform your trip coordinator then it is considered as 'No Show'
- No Show: If you do not report on day of your trek and group can not wait any longer and they will proceed with the trek. No refund would be applicable.
- If camping is affected by the weather or any other natural calamities then and hotels stay has to be provided then charges must be paid by the customer on actuals.
- Your safety is our responsibility and so we reserve the right to revoke services of anyone not following the instructions of our expert guides during the trek.
- In case someone misbehaves under influence of alcohol, we reserve the right to cancel their booking
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Although Triund is an easy trek, conditions at Triund Top can be unpredictable sometimes. Bad weather if encountered may not be best for small child. Camping at night with 5 year old or younger child on Triund Top is not advisable. Day hike can be done.
