Detailed overview
A journey of 15–20 minutes from the jetty of Port Blair takes you to the North Bay Island of Andaman. The beach here is renowned for its amenities and water sports like snorkelling and scuba diving. Since there are abundant facilities like locker rooms to store valuable things, huts to relax in for a while, good restaurants, and reasonable rates of water sports, the footfall of tourists on North Bay Island is very high.
Surrounded by turquoise-colored water in which mesmerizing sea creatures swim around you, this is the perfect way to embrace the magnificent sea life without breaking a sweat. People of any age can comfortably enter and exit the vessel.
Itinerary
- The trip begins after you arrive at the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex (RGWSC), where you board the Glass Bottom Boat as per the time slot selected (8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 10:30 a.m.).
- Board the glass-bottom boat at North Bay Island and occupy the seat as per availability (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
- On the ride, you would see amazing views of the underwater life in the clear waters of the Andamans.
- Enjoy the ride for half an hour before returning back to the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex (RGWSC)
