About Kunzangdrak Goemba
To reach Kunzangdrak Goemba or Kunzangdrak Monastery you have to walk for two hours above the Chel Tang Valley. The site was built by Pema Lingpa in 1488, who has also found the unhidden treasures within the deep gorge of the Burning Lake. There is a gilded stone in this Goemba which bears the footprint of Pema Lingpa. Most of his sacred and religious relics are also preserved here.
