About Lhuntse
Lhuntse is located in the north-eastern corner of Bhutan and is one of the isolated places in Bhutan. It was initially known as Kurtoe. Lhuntse is located 77 kms away from the town of Mongar, so you have to drive for 3 hours in order to reach this destination. The ancestral home of Bhutan lies here. In Lhuntse there are several religious sites of pilgrimage. It is known for its weavers and the unique textiles are considered to be the best in Bhutan.
