About Courtallam Falls
Courtallam Falls, popularly termed as Spa of Southern India, is major crowd puller in Tirunelveli district.Most of the rivers namely Manimuthar, Thamarabharani, Pachaiyar and Chittar rivers originate from this place. During monsoon, the falls will have heavy downpour, when tourists are not allowed to take bath in falls. There are many health resorts nearby Courtallam. There are nearly five falls in Courtallam. The picturesque hillock is termed as “Agasthiyar Malai” named after a Sage Agasthiyar. It is the perfect place to rejuvenate you soul and body.
