Beautiful squares are scattered all over the area, where children can play around and blend into the lively atmosphere.

The Eye of the Emirates is a giant Ferris wheel, similar to the London Eye, which offers scenic views of the busy city below, though slightly expensive. The city is also distinguished by its many roundabouts, where tourists can admire or stop to take pictures of the surrounding architecturally magnificent buildings and structures. In the heart of the city, the Al Majaz Waterfront attracts joggers, families, children and tourists. It is the best place to relax, run around and unwind from one’s fast paced life. A spectacular sound and light fountain show takes place at regular intervals in the evenings and night, calling for some quality family time at the lagoon. Apart from these major attractions, the city also has aquariums, wildlife centers, football and cricket stadiums, wetlands and national parks to appeal to everyone’s tastes. One can stay at Sharjah for a couple of days and have a blast! The city holds back no shortage in any of its services and attractions.
