About Rakcham
Rakcham is not so well know offbeat travel destination which is a culmination point of the beautiful trekking route along the Baspa valley. The name of the village is derived from 'Rak' meaning stone and 'Chham' meaning a bridge. Located on the right bank of the Baspa river, Rakcham is a sight to behold. There are two temples in the village, one dedicated to goddess Kali and other to Lord Shiva.
For accomadation, Rakcham has a PWD Guest House and only a couple of other modest hotels. Rakcham lies midway between Sangla and Chitkul.
