About Kamru Fort
Made of wood, Kamru Fort is located at height of 2600m has an image of Lord Buddha installed at the entrance of the fort. Resembling a tower, this fort has a magnificent wooden balcony to admire. It is beleived that fort was built in15 century. This fort also houses an idol of Kamakya Devi placed at the third floor of fort. Thus getting the name Kamakya Devi Fort. Views from the tower are amazing, One can see the whole Sangla valley, along with river Baspa. It is one of the most emposing buildings of Sangla Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
Kamru Fort is aboit 230 KMs from Shimla and 2 km from the Sangla Valley.
