About Goecha La
Goecha La is a high mountain pass and a popular trekking destination in Sikkim. The trek begins in Yuksom, a quaint hill station where you should stock up on your provisions before you begin the trek and also take the necessary permits. Often said to be one of the most romantic treks, it is surrounded by blooming rhododendron trees, sparkling waters of the Samiti lake and the towering peaks of Kanchenjunga and other mountains in the Himalayan range.
