About Sonagiri
Sonagiri is located in Datia district in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The city is a key pilgrim center of Jain. The name of the city Sonagiri means golden hill. Bhagwan Chandraprabhu, who was the eighth tirthankar, had attained nirvana at this holy land. The city is a home to more than a hundred temples. The most famous of all of them is the Temple 57, where you can see the 11ft tall idol of Chandraprabhu.
