About Shani Shingnapur
This small village is located 65 km of Shirdi. The most interesting feature of the village is that the people don’t build their house with door. You can see not even one house possess doors because people in this village believe that the God Shani Bhagawan protects them and their possessions from evils and theft. There is a temple for God Shani Bhagawan (Planet Saturn) wherein only male devotees are allowed to offer prayers. The idol of the God is made up of Black Stone and it is very huge. Male devotees have to take a bath in bathrooms available nearby the temple and should wear only dhotis and not shirts only worshipping the God Shani. The idol of the God Shani is nothing but a huge black stone which appeared on its own and devotees offer oil to the statue. Devotees from all over world visit this temple to get the blessings of God Shani Bhagawan.
