About Rashtrapati Nilayam
One of the President's 3 residences and official retreats. Built 150 years ago, the site is recognized by the Heritage Conservation Committee (HCC). Constructed in 1860 by the Nizam of Hyderabad, the complex consists of a dining hall, ceremonial halls, cinema hall, a durbar hall and a morning room. The complex is all housed in one floor and spread of an area of 101 acres.
