About Malayattoor
Malayattoor is associated with St Thomas, an Apostle of Jesus Christ as it is here in the Marthoma Mandapam that the relics of the saint are preserved for the pilgrims. Also there is Sannidhi Chapel where holy Eucharist is celebrated. Also in the vicinity one can visit the ancient chapel which is now in ruins as a result of the outrage of elephant herds. Other than the religious importance this place offers a beautiful view of the adjoining places from the Chapel which is on top of the hill.
