About Tibetan Buddhist Temple
Dalai Lama resorted to Mussoorie and stayed here for some time during the days of border chaos. The Tibetan people who followed Lama, stayed back and this beautiful temple, the first Tibetan Buddhist shrine on Indian soil, stands here now retelling their history. The peaceful temple which was ordained by Dalai Lama is called Shedup Choepelling temple. With its sacred ambience this old temple yields a calming effect to its visitors.
