About Naina Peak
At 2611m, this highest point in Nainital is also called as China peak. One can either take a challenging yet desirable trek uphill or a more convenient pony ride to reach the top of the peak. This spot also offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Naini Lake which looks like a giant emerald tear drop, and the brilliant white hued Himalayas framing the lavish valleys and forests in an interesting angle. A night view of the illuminated lake shore is a stupendous sight.
