About Sardar Patel Museum
Sardar Patel Museum in Surat was established in the pre-independence era (1889). The museum houses artifacts that are carved in wood, stone and other material, oil paintings, sculptures, porcelain crafts and textiles. There are several manuscripts that are preserved in the museum along with models showcasing the history of Surat city. There is a planetarium adjacent to the museum that runs a show describing the mystery of the Universe.
