About Little Andaman Island
Since located at very long distance, Little Andaman Island is least visited by Tourists. But then there are abundant in nature to be explored, lush green creeks, waterfalls, silver sandy beaches etc. Food, liquor and stay are cheaper in Little Andaman and their hospitality is awesome. This Island is worst ravaged by 2005 Tsunami. The Duong Creek located in the north and south bay of Little Andaman is restricted area as there are tribes in these creeks. There are two types of ferry available from Port Blair to Hut Bay of Little Andaman. Big Ferry which costs INR 55 per head operates even in worst weather and travel time is 8 hours. The speedboat ferry trip ends in 6 hours, but it won’t operate in worst climatic conditions. Swimming in waterfalls must be watched out as you may come across crocodiles. Also keep an eye while swimming in the sea as it is little shallow.
