About Palolem Beach
About 40 KMs from Margao in South Goa is Palolem beach, and offers a long coast for those romantic beach walks. Palolem is one of the most famous beaches of Goa and therefore little touristy but offers amazing views, white sand and hut accomadation right on the beach. This beautiful crescent shaped beach allows visitors to view the entire stretch of the coast from either ends of the beach. Nearby attractions are Honeymoon Island and Butterfly Island which can be accessed by a short boat ride. It has been a favorite beach for travelers who enjoy peace and quiet, yet want to enjoy good food and culture. Water here is greenish and attractions like Honeymoon Island & Butterfly Island nearby.
