About Gomatgiri
Gomatgiri is located on a small hill, away from the hustle and bustle of city and is an important temple for Jains. The temple has a 21 ft statue of Bahubali (also called Gomateshwara) and 24 shrines dedicated to 24 'tirthankara' of Jainism. From the temple you can have a great view of the city of Indore and also see the planes take off and land at the nearby Indore airport. Consider visiting when it is close to sunset, so you can enjoy the sunset from the vista point on one side of the hill.
