Pipliyapala Regional Park is like an oasis in the middle of the urban city. It is a large park where you can easily spend half a day. There is a lake within the park where visitors can enjoy boating. There is also a water fountain and the park is quite well-maintained and clean. The park is about 6 kms from the railway station and easily accessible by public and private vehicles. It is usually crowded on sundays and public holidays.
