About Radhanagari Dam
Radhanagari Dam was built by Shahuji Maharaj, the ruler of Kolhapur and spreads across an area of 1,1000 hectares . The dam has been builtin with the purpose of providing irrigation water and electricity. The hydroelectric project produces 10 MW of electricity each year.The dam is a home to some of the most rarest and spectacular birds.The dam has picturesque surroundings and beautiful lush green forests all around make it a pleasure to visit this site.
