About Khajjiar Lake
Khajjiar Lake is located in between Chamba and Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. Situated 1,920 m above sea level, the lake is surrounded by lush green grasslands, evergreen deodar and pine trees on mountains and clear blue sky acting as a canopy. The lake is named after Khajji Nag, a deity worshipped in the nearby temple. It is about 2 hours from Dalhousie and is a beautiful place to relax and spend a few blissful hours.
