About Singanatha Temple

The Singanatha temple is the oldest in the state and is famous for its brilliant architecture. Geographically, the temple is situated on the summit of a cliff close to the Mahanadi, which offers both tranquil and picturesque surroundings. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts devotees from all over the country. The tourists are attracted to the place for its beautiful and tranquil ambience also for spiritual healing. The famous festival named Makar Mela is held every year on 14th of January.
