About Mandar Hill
The Mandar hill is an 800-foot high granite hill and the lake at the top of the hill makes it a picturesque spot. The Hills are bonded with mythological stories of Hinduism. The hill is situated at a distance of 30 kms from the city. The hills still have the imprints of the Sagar Manthan. In the famous Sagar Manthan the snake was used to churn the nectar out of the sea by both the angels and demons. The hill still has the imprints of Lord Vishnu, which makes it a holy spot for devotees all around the world.
