About Nagaland State Museum
Nagaland State Museum in Kohima is a popular attraction in the state of Nagaland and displays how the Naga culture had evolved. The museum provides information and showcases various tribal habitats existing in the eastern part of India. At the museum, you can see rare artifacts of more than 16 tribes inhabiting the state. Some of the famous ones are the precious stones, clan motifs, necklaces, traditional attires, inscriptions and images of their culture and practices. The museum is situated at Bayavu Hill at a distance of 3 km from the heart of the city.
