About Bhuvanagiri
Bhuvanagiri is the birthplace of Raghavendra Swami. Sometimes called the saint of South India, Raghavendra Swami was a seventeenth century man believed to have performed so many miracles he is worshipped as a God today. There are several temples in the town, including the Sri Raghavendra Swami Temple, which marks the saint’s birthplace.
