About Shilparamam
Shilparamam was founded to preserve the traditional crafts and arts. Started in the year 1992, Shilparamam is a renowned arts and craft village in Madhapur area of Hyderabad. Spread across 65 acres of land, the Shilparamam crafts village attracts the visitors with its cultural and traditional heritage. If you want to be in midst of typical Indian Village, then step into the Rural Museum sector of Shilparamam. There are nearly 15 types of huts all made up of clay and thatch, which can be seen in rural museum. The ecological side of Shilparamam is lightened up by the rock museum set up by Shantiniketan’s Subroto Basu. This rock garden has both artificial rock sculptures and natural rock designs. One can have leisure boating experience in the lake within the Shilparamam. You can buy souvenirs for your loved ones from the numerous stalls opearting in the village. Shilparamam, definitely provides a unique experience.
