About Ganesh Tok View Point
Located at a height of 6500 ft, Ganesh Tok is the topmost tip of Gangtok. Standing amidst a number of TV towers, this place is a wonderful amalgamation of the natural and man-made. A traveler need only hike for 7 kms to reach the spot. It’s a magnificent sight to behold at the observatory tower here. The kanchenjunga often plays the shy bride here but like a bride itself, is glorious to look at! Adorned with prayer flags and a lovely Ganesh temple, this place affords a breath taking view to a traveller that he can never forget.
