About Tso Lhamo Lake
Tso Lhamo Lake or Cholamu Lake India’s highest, and world’s 14th highest lake, it is in a class of its own. The topography is a lot like that of ladakh. It’s extremely close to the Sino-Tibetian border and is therefore not open to foreign tourists. The lake looks very similar to Gurudongmar but being at a height of 18000, it might take some a little time to get acclimatized to the atmosphere. What attracts the eye the most is the colour combinations here. It looks just like God got it into his head to experiment with pastel colours in shades of ochre, green, chocolate, blue and white. The place looks like a piece of fantasy!
