About Kaliadeh Palace
Believed to be the site of an ancient Sun temple, Kaliadeh Palace is a great place to visit along the banks of Shipra River. Remains of the ancient temple are scatters around the palace built in 15th Century during the reign of Mahmud Khilji. The place constructed in Persian style is qute impressive though.
According to inscriptions present here, palace was visited by Akbar and Jehangir. After place was looted and destroyed by Pindari forces, it was restored by Scindias.
