About Namik Glacier
Namik Glacier lies in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. The glacier is famous for its hard trek which can be undertaken from Bageswar, which is about 63km from the glacier. There is a lot of natural beauty to soak in here, waterfalls, sulphur springs originate here and, great Himalayan mountains like, Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nanda Kot are visible from here.
The trek duration is 10-12 days. To reach Bageswar one can take a taxi from Kathgodam or Nainital.
Best time: April-June and Sept-Oct
