About Pibiting Monastery
Pibiting gompa is a very beautiful monastery located in Zanskar region of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated very close to Padum the very capital of Zanskar. This monastery plays an important role in attracting tourists to this place. Here they have a collection of ancient chortens. It is believed that it was constructed by Emperor Kansihka who also constructed the Sani monastery located close to this one. Its unique architecture will surely leave you awestruck.
