Sleepy, isolated and pristine, that is Talpona and its beach. Situated in the Cancona taluk of South Goa, this is a beautiful fishing village that will put your worries to rest when you come to visit this place. Dotted with thickets, this beach has a shoreline which isn't more than a kilometer long. The sea is calm and so is the ambiance here and the sands caress your feet here like nowhere else. This sleepy fisherman's village has a rescue tower of its own. This place has thankfully not felt the onslaughts of commercialization yet which means that it’s emptier and comparatively untouched.
The food arrangements available are very reasonably priced. If you want to spent time away from the crowds, this is what you were looking for. This village can be reached by way of the NH17 highway located south of Chaudi. This place is close to the Polem, Rajbag and Galgibaga beaches. There's a lovely temple at the northern end of the beach which you must pay a visit to. So to enjoy the sparkling waters of the Arabian Sea, the glittering sands of a typical Goan beach and beauty of the bluest possible horizon, you must pay a come to the Talpona beach.
