About Visakhapatnam Aquarium
Matsya Darshini or Visakhapatnam Aquarium is the only Aquarium and Fish Museum in Visakhapatnam. Located on of Ramakrishna beach, it has become one of the major tourist attractions of Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam Aquarium houses many rare aquatic species bought from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. This aquarium has nearly 20 medium and large sized tanks displaying the fresh water and marine fish and water animal species.
Visit to the aquarium is both a recreational and an ‘educational’ activity. While visiting the aquarium keep in mind to avoid peak hours as it could get little crowded. Parking space is available on the lane opposite the aquarium. Entry fee is 20/- for Adults and 10/- for children below 10 years.
