About National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum

National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum is managed by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Museum show cases art-work such as tribal textiles, hand-made jewelry, terracotta animals, pottery work, toys and even metal-ware sculptures. Traditional works from across India and states such as Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat is kept for display here. One of the sections in the museum has created a replica of a typical Indian village. There is even a restaurant for you to relax and recharge your batteries if you need to.
