About Khaste Lake
Khaste Lake, a freshwater lake is located in the Lekhnath municipality in Nepal. It is a splendid lake and covers an area of 24.8030 hectors. This lake is also known for pisciculture performed for it.
This lake is famous destination among bird watchers and is also known as “Bird Wetland.” The Siberiann, Indian and Afghani birds can be often spotted here, who come to the area to protect themselves from the cold. If you are a Bird lover, this lake can be in your bucket list.
