About Gardens By The Bay
There’s a valid reason for this garden welcoming its 20 millionth visitor in 2015, winning multiple awards and being on every traveler’s go-to list. Gardens by the Bay is a sprawling attraction which gives visitors splendid waterfront views. Bearing resemblance to Singapore’s national flower: orchid of Vanda hybrid, it is the largest of all gardens. Gigantic super-trees, being 9-16 storeys tall, are vertical gardens themselves and provide excellent views of other parts of the Garden. These super-trees sparkle in the evening show “Garden Rhapsody”. What’s unique to this attraction is the Cloud Forest, a 35-meter tall mountain surrounded by mist and covered in lush vegetation amidst the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. The aquatic life-bearing Dragonfly & Kingfisher lakes, the Mediterranean and desert plantation covered Flower Dome and the one hectare wide Children’s Garden with its tree-house are other popular spots not to be missed.
