About Tangalle
Located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, Tangalle is around 200 kilometers from Colombo and has quite a few attractions. The town still reminds us of the Colonial period and Dutch Rest house is one which must be visited while in the town. Buduraya temple and Kalametiya bird sanctuary are other attractions.
Tangalle attracts budget tourists who wish to enjoy the scenic beauty of Sri Lanka in serene places and off-beat places. The beach is not ideal for swimming yet other sports like diving and snorkeling can be enjoyed.
