About Mangrove National Park
Get set for kayaking along the channels of the lagoon with the dense mangrove trees overlooking the shallow waters in Eastern Mangrove Lagoon National Park. Almost 75% of the mangroves of the whole country is concentrated at this place. It is no wonder that this is a rich habitat of some 200 species of fishes and 50 species of birds. Grey and white terns, herons, pink flamingos, egrets, Dolphins, dugongs, needle fishes, Egyptian geese etc., are the inhabitants of this haven. It is the best place to simmer down as you will be immersed in its tranquility and spellbound by its charms. Two hours of guided Paddle boarding tours, eco-tours and fishing are also available here and the routes and timings depend on the tidal forms. These rides can be booked through hotel or directly at the office. The waterfront is located along the eastern Ring Road in Abu Dhabi.
