Hike amongst the snow clad Dhauladhar range from Solang Valley to Old Manali. Hang out in the buzz of Old Manali in the lovely cafes and explore the tiny and charming town of Old Manali. Spend the chilly night snuggled up , surrounded by snow, in luxury hiking tents at an exotic private location, by the River Beas. Get your adrenaline fix while ziplining/paragliding in the Kullu valley or go for winter sports like skiing or snowboarding in the Beautiful Solang Valley.

Itinerary:
Day-1: Patlikukal - dA Base, Haripur - Solang Valley - Old Manali - Somvan Campsite
You will be received at the Patlikuhal bus stop at 9 am and and we will drive you to the basecamp located amidst an orchard in Haripur. After introductions and refreshments we will drive you to Solang Valley to begin the trek. After a pleasant and easy hike, we will reach Old Manali. Lunch in restaurant on the way at own cost. Hang out in the lovely cafes with awesome music to give you company.
If you’d rather relax in the camp and want some peace and quiet, we’ll straightaway head to our camping site. Pitch the luxury tents in a picture perfect location here and enjoy a private camping experience by the freezing River Beas.
Enjoy freshly cooked vegetarian meal and help in collecting firewood. Indulge in some angling and relax around a bonfire and piping hot BBQ before sleep. You will be staying in luxury hiking tents for a comfortable camping experience.
Day-2: Somvan - Explore Naggar, Jana Waterfall- Patlikuhal - Departure
After having breakfast by the river Beas, spend some time by the river side and explore. Later we drive to Jana waterfall for some traditional Himachali Cuisine and an amazing ride. Visit the Castle, Roerich Art Gallery in Naggar, the ancient capital of Kullu, on the way. Then we will drop you at the Patlikuhal Bus stop for your onward journey.

Important Information
Backpack
- Backpack 40 - 50 Lt. with rain cover.Day Pack 15 - 20 Lt. -To carry your personal gear, camera, water bottle, trail clothing, packed food etc. (you will need this, when you offload your larger pack onto a horse/porter)
Footwear
- Trekking Shoes: Please do not wear sports shoes as on most treks as we go higher it gets harder to use the sports shoes. We recommend shoes with a good hard sole and also ankle support preferable water proof. While we do not subscribe to any particular brand you can try the Quechua Forclaz 600 or like. Socks:
- 2-3 pairs of cotton socks
- 1-2 pair of woolen socks (best to use when in camp. Not recommended while trekking).
Clothing
- Pants: 2-3 pairs -Ideal are quick dry light weight synthetic pants. Alternatively track pants are also comfortable to trek in. Avoid jeans/denims.
- T-shirts 2-3 pairs–Preferably full sleeves.
- Synthetic Fleece Jacket -1 pair.
- Wind proof/ Water proof Jacket -1 pair.
- Down filled / Hollow fiber fill insulated Jacket – 1 pair (optional-get this if you want to stay extra warm at camps.)
- Thermal liners-1 pair upper and lower (optional)

Our trip will start from the base camp in Haripur, 14 km short of Manali. If you are travelling by Volvo bus, you are requested to de-board at the Patlikuhal bus stand and we will receive you from there and drive you to the base camp

The water during the trip is fresh and it is recommended to carry your personal reusable water bottles and filters as well.
