Bilikal Betta (Rangaswamy Betta) Sunrise Trek

Detailed overview

Around 70 km from Bangalore off of the Kanakapura road, lies the Rangaswamy betta or Bilikal bettakpura road is the Bilikal betta. Belonging to the forest reserve, the Hill is covered in shrub forest. Every year locals from the surrounding area climb this hill to celebrate a festival at the Ranganathaswamy temple at the top. The way they have been following throughout the years has turned into a standard trekking trail.

Itinerary

• You are requested to report at the nearest pickup point by 10:30 PM (please refer the meetup information for complete details).
• Meet the guide and fellow travellers at the meeting point and start the journey towards Bilikal Betta. 
• Reach the base camp by 2:00 AM and right after a small briefing session start the trek.
• Reach the top by 4:30 AM and you can relax by the side of a campfire.
• Witness the sunrise from the top and relax for a while and start descending back to the basecamp.
• Have a sumptuous breakfast on the way back. 
• The group is expected to reach Bangalore by 10:30 AM to end the tour.
