Brief Itinerary:
Day 0: Delhi to Manali via Volvo
Day 01: Arrival at Manali
Arrive at Manali and indulge in the local discovery and gems around the city
Day 02: Manali to Chandrataal
Head over to Chandrataal lake in Spiti Valley via Chattru. It takes 6 hours to reach Chandrataal from Manali. Chandrataal is a high Altitude Alpine Lake and per Hindu mythology, Chandratal is the place where Indra, the King of Gods, came down on his chariot to transport Yudhishthira, eldest of the five Pandavas, in his mortal form to Swarga (heaven).
Locals believe that fairies visit the lake at night. Chandra Bhaga mountain range (CB Group) forms the perfect backdrop for the lake.
Day 03: Chandratal (4300m) - Tokpo Gongma (4320m)
The Day's Trek is very easy but a long walk accompanied by massive Chandra-Bhaga (C.B.) range on the Western side. The camps will be set up nearby the river or just after crossing the river. It is required that the trekkers either wear slippers or extra shoe while crossing the river.
Day 04: Tokpo Gongma (4380m) - Tokpo Yongma (4640m)
Day 04 requires that you commence early. The Perpetual heat on the mountain tops and over the glaciers rises during the day time and it becomes difficult to cross rivers due to the rising water force. The route is a breath-taking and one with sight of frosty peaks of Chandrabhaga Range. The Tokpo Yongma crossing is more east as compared to the Tokpo Gongma.
Day 05: Tokpo Yongma (4640m) - Baralacha La Pass(4900m)
The day will be tough. You will need to climb some steep slopes of Chandra Valley to enjoy stunning sights of snowy Himalayan ranges past the Baralacha Pass. Ascend to the Baralacha La South peak and then descend to cross over a river. After this patch, make way through a lovely and lengthy meadow stretch to arrive at Baralacha La North summit. Head Over to Bharatpur and Rest for the day
Day 06: Baralacha Drive to Manali over Rohtang La (3980 m)
Head over back to Manali and take return bus to Delhi.

Some Degree of Fitness is required to Complete this trek. An experience into High Altitude Trekking Expeditions is required and can safely complete this trek with in the designated time.

Question 4 -How will we deal with altitude acclimation?At higher altitudes
The kind we experience frequently on our treks- your cardiac and pulmonary systems are affected by lower oxygen density. Our bodies must adjust to the mountain elevation gradually, or we can become ill. Physical symptoms can range from general breathing difficulties all the way to acute mountain sickness (altitude sickness, soroche, or "the bends"). To avoid altitude-related maladies, we pace our treks appropriately and incorporate acclimatization days throughout the itinerary. There are points throughout many treks during which trekkers may choose to either tackle additional hikes/day trips or rest and relax as their bodies demand.

Manali is one of the hottest Hill station in India and is well connected by Delhi by Bus and Cab.
Question 6-What communication options exist while trekking?
It varies. Mobile coverage is expanding around the world rapidly, and the Himalayas are no different… did you know that 3G coverage is available all over Mount Everest? There is no guarantee of uninterrupted coverage.
