Kollur is located on the banks of River Souparnika and on the foothills of Kodachadri Mountains this place is one of the seven pilgrimage destinations formed by Sage Parasuram. Kollur is famous for the Mookambika temple dedicated to Goddess Parvathi. Do visit the Arishna Gundi Waterfalls where the water of falls looks yellowish orange thus it’s name Arishna that means turmeric.While travelling from Kundapur to Kollur it is best to visit a picturesque beach Maravanthe where the sea and river water meets.
