This land has a mythological importance too .It was believed that Hiramba (demon king )was killed by Bhim at the very place during a fight between them due to Bhim’s love for Hirimba who was Hiramba’s sister (reference from Mahabharata -The Great Hindu Epic ). This temple is said to be built on the same place where this fight had happened.
