The British Christian Cemetery in Ambala holds an immense historical value, and even though not existing in its most decent circumstance it continues to attract innumerable tourists from all over the country as well as the world. A 17th Century establishment it was built during the reign of the British Army, a resting place for the soldiers. This site is stretched over 22 acres, and has some beautiful memorials and tributes for the combatants and their respective families. The government of Haryana is currently making efforts to restore the damaged sections of the cemetery as it is an imperative fraction of the state’s history and varied culture.
