About Vankalai Beach
Vankalai beach is situated by the fishing and farming village of Vankalai, in the Nothern Province of Sri Lanka. The beach is not a major tourist attraction due to the lack of water activities. Majorly, fishing activities are carried out on the beach, causing trash to be scattered all around. Even in terms of scenery, Vankalai beach fails to impress, especially due to the vast number of other beautiful beaches in the country. Of course, sunsets at the beach are a stunning sight, but besides that, it has nothing more to offer and can definitely be cancelled out of one’s itinerary.
