About Gadsar Lake
Gadsar Lake, also know as Yemsar Lake is located 28 km from Naranag and is famous for its brown trout. This lake is also famous as lake of flowers as the lake is surrounded by wild alpine flowers from June to September. Other time of the year the lake is not accessible as it is frozen and the tracks covered with snow. A beautiful stream flows out of this lake and joins Neelam River adding to the beauty of the river.
