- Nagoba Mandir (16 kms) also called the snake temple resonates the popular belief across several temples in Uttrakhand, that of revisiting the temple after fulfillment of wish with brass bells of varied sizes and tying them up on the walls. Only here the devotees tie them up in clusters with four, six or a dozen ties up together. The temple houses the idol of a hooded snake. Within the premise is a samadhi believed to be a saint’s who was blessed with special dvine powers.
