About Gurudwara Shree Kothri Sahib
Located some short distance outside of the main town of Gurdaspur. It’s a beautiful little temple set apart from the main village and surrounded by rich foliage, which brings contrast to its splendid decoration. The temple is in deference to the Guru Sahib who visited and was served by a housewife a delicious dish of chohia or broken bread mixed with butter. He offered a hymn to the woman. Three shrines are devoted to him in the village.
